There’s a growing hole in our community’s mental health care system.

Healthcare costs and demand for services are rising,

while subsidies and the number of available counselors continues to decline.

Together, we can build a bridge to care today and a land of resilience tomorrow.

Because this hole isn’t what defines us as Vermonters-

this bridge is what will.

When someone receives the care they need, the benefits ripple outward—to their families, friends, co-workers, and communities. Counseling doesn’t just strengthen individuals; it strengthens all of us. Join us in creating a healthier, more connected Vermont.

Who you could impact

37,000 Vermonters needing mental health care who can’t afford the fees, deductibles, or copayments.

This might be teens in your community struggling with anxiety, new mothers trying to cope with postpartum depression, elders fighting isolation, neighbors with addictions, trauma, grief, and more.

1,723 Pre-Licensed, Master’s level counselors in the state

We support new counselors and supervising counselors—the backbone of tomorrow’s mental health workforce—helping them overcome the financial and professional barriers that too often force them out of the field.

How it works

Donor support enables Vermonters with financial barriers to access mental health care. Clients apply for grants, registered counselors provide services, and funds are paid out directly to the counselors through a simple claim process. Volunteers and donors make this entire system possible.
